Midlothian Marks America's 250th with Annual Parade - 6/27/2026

Midlothian — On Saturday, June 27, the Village of Midlothian hosted its 16th Annual Independence Parade in celebration of America's 250th anniversary. With perfect overcast skies and temperatures around 75 degrees, the community turned out in large numbers to celebrate. Local organizations, businesses, fire departments, police departments, and elected officials participated in the festive event. The parade traveled along 147th Street, following its traditional route from Kilpatrick Avenue to Waverly Avenue.
