Understanding Culture with Prof. Peter Burke | Caucus Interactions

Caucus: The Discussion Forum was pleased to host Prof Peter Burke, Emeritus Professor of Cultural History, University of Cambridge, to share his insights and reflections on the topic "Understanding Culture". Prof Burke is a Fellow of the British Academy and a Member of the Academia Europea. In 1998, he was awarded the Erasmus Medal of the European Academy. He has been awarded honorary doctorates by the Universities of Lund, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Zurich, Brussels and Oviedo. He is an Honorary Professor of the National University of Colombia and an Honorary Fellow of St John’s College Oxford. Prof Burke has published hundreds of articles and chapters and 30 books. His works have been translated into 33 languages.
