🏡🔥❄️ ISOLAMENTO TERMICO IN LANA DI ROCCIA - COSTRUZIONE VILLA CURA -EP.14

🏡 In this episode, we continue the work on Villa Cura! We started with a completely unfinished house, with exposed brickwork, and began by installing 6 cm thick serizzo window sills, with bullnose edges for an elegant and long-lasting finish. Next, we installed all the insulated subframes, complete with a motorized roller shutter box and a built-in mosquito net, to eliminate thermal bridges and best prepare for the installation of the windows. Then it was time for the 16 cm thick rock wool thermal insulation. The panels were glued following the correct installation method, with a continuous bead along the entire perimeter of the panel and three central points with the appropriate glue, to ensure a secure, long-lasting attachment that complies with the system specifications. Once the gluing was complete, we further secured all the panels with the appropriate anchors, to ensure maximum stability and durability of the insulation over time. Once the panels were installed, we applied the reinforced plaster: a first coat of adhesive was applied with a notched trowel; the fiberglass mesh was inserted; a second coat of adhesive was applied to completely cover the mesh. In areas that were slightly out of plumb, it was necessary to further reinforce them with a second layer of mesh and a third coat of adhesive to achieve a perfectly even surface. The work isn't finished yet: once the subfloors are completed and the house is finished, we'll apply the colored plaster, which will be the final finish of the insulation. 👍 If you enjoyed the video, please like it, leave a comment to tell us what you think, and subscribe to the channel so you don't miss future episodes of Villa Cura.
