On this week’s episode we sit down with former 19K and Bayonet Company veteran Adam Uhre. Adam has the distinction of being a member of the 2nd Platoon, B/1-64 at Sperwan Ghar in 2012. 2/B/1-64 were a platoon of Tankers (M1 Abrams Crews) attached to Bayonet for the 2012 deployment. The hilarity ensues early on as the Infantry vs Armor rivalry spills out of every topic we discuss, and we take some time to dive deep into the ideas of talking about our experiences, and what it is like to feel displaced after an intense experience like Combat. Adam really helped us navigate the discussion of telling war stories, and the unique challenges faced by being a Tanker in an Infantry Company in an Armored battalion, attached to an Infantry battalion out of Washington.
