Barroom Brawl Over a Beer Coozy

The plaintiff says he and the defendant have been friends for 13 years. He alleges that the defendant grabbed him and shook him hard one night at a bar, damaging a necklace. He’s suing for the jewelry and the assault. The defendant says the only reason he grabbed the womanizing plaintiff was because he was swiping the defendant’s beer coozy.
