Take The Next Faithful Step And Trust God With The Rest | Bible Study Through Zachariah 4

Good morning, my brothers and sisters. Today’s Bible study is based on **Zechariah 4**, where God reminds His people not to despise the day of small beginnings. Zerubbabel was called to rebuild the temple, but the work was slow, the resources were limited, and the obstacles appeared overwhelming. Yet God assured him that the work would be completed—not through human strength alone, but through the power of the Holy Spirit. *Key Scripture:* “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. — Zechariah 4:6 “Do not despise these small beginnings.” — Zechariah 4:10 In this devotional, we reflect on how God often begins His greatest work through quiet and ordinary acts of faithfulness. A small step toward healing, one wise financial decision, a return to prayer, an honest conversation, or the courage to begin again may not appear impressive, but it can become the foundation of something meaningful. We will also learn that: God is present in the beginning, not only at the finish line. Slow progress does not mean God has stopped working. We can be responsible without believing everything depends upon us. The Holy Spirit provides wisdom, strength, patience, and direction. The mountain before us is not greater than the God who walks with us. *Reflection for today:* What small beginning have you been tempted to dismiss because it does not yet look like the answer you hoped for? *A simple step:* Choose one faithful action you can take today. Pray before responding, attend the appointment, make the call, open your Bible, organise one responsibility, or begin the conversation you have been avoiding. May the Holy Spirit strengthen you for every responsibility, give you peace in every unfinished place, and help you recognise the quiet signs of grace already appearing in your life. May God guide your steps, provide for your needs, protect your home and loved ones, and carry you faithfully through every part of the rebuilding.
