Carving Ainu Mug. Ainu Knife.

I cut a mug out of birch based on the Ainu culture. This is not an attempt to recreate the original look of the mugs used by these peoples, but my imagination. I use the Ainu knife to make the mug. This knife has a specific handle for a reverse grip. This is done so that it is convenient to plan on yourself. The blade has one-sided sharpening like a chisel. The flat side is on the left side and the knife is sharpened on the right. I have little experience with this knife, so the video shows that I'm just learning how to work with this knife. I can say that it is really convenient to plane yourself with this knife. I am planning to use this knife for hiking in the forest.
