Hispanic Heritage Month: A Brief History
In an effort to increase awareness of Hispanic and Latino people's contributions to the US, Hispanic Heritage month is celebrated every year in communities throughout the country. It lasts from September 15 to October 15 and recognizes how those communities have influenced and contributed to American society at large. The celebration was initiated in 1968 with a week and then grew to a month in 1988. #coquireport #latino #hispanicheritagemonth Check out our latest videos and don't forget to subscribe: # / @coquireport
