So she told Yukari-san that "kudamono" sounded strange, and Yukari-san, while dancing excitedly, explained the mystery of the word "kudamono"... Correction: Aoi-chan said the Nihon Shoki was from 740 AD when she mentioned subscribing to the channel, but it was actually 720 AD. Also, there's the word "mabuta" (eyelid) which is a word starting with "ma." The first recorded instance of "mi" (fruit) is in the Manyoshu, in the late 8th century.
