Mazda Carft Journeys | Harumi i Marcella w Marsylii

When a master craftswoman meets her apprentice, a shared journey begins, shaped by trust, repetition, and a new perspective. Watch the second episode of the "Mazda Craft Journeys" series, where we discover what happens when mastery meets the uncertainty of experimentation. Drawing on its Takumi heritage, Mazda is proud to support this year's Homo Faber Fellowship program, a seven-month project that brings together master craftsmen and apprentices to create original works presented during Milan Design Week. In this episode, Harumi, a natural dye artist, and her apprentice Marcella join forces to collide their different work philosophies and creative instincts. They take on the challenge of Katazome, a Japanese stencil dyeing technique that is new to their collaboration and leaves no room for hesitation. All this to create a unique piece for the Homo Faber exhibition. Will their collaboration lead to harmony, or will the pressures transform them both? As a reminder, you can also watch the first episode of the "Mazda Craft Journeys" series featuring Kuniko and Momoka on our channel. We'll be back soon with the final episode, showcasing the completed works of both creative duos. #MazdaCraftJourneys #Mazda #CX60 #Takumi #HomoFaber @Jamesmatthews
