My First Live Sound Gig Didn’t Go as Planned… (Gospel Bowl 2025)

Gospel Bowl 2025 was my very first full-scale live audio gig, and it definitely came with challenges. Between the rain, setup delays, broken amps, and unreliable wireless mics, I had way less time to get everything ready than planned. In this video, I’ll take you along from my POV of setting up, troubleshooting, and finally mixing during the event itself. Out front, the QSC K12.2 PA system carried beautifully, and we even got some feedback that this was the best Gospel Bowl has sounded in its 8 years.
