Ravemen FR1000 Bike Headlight Out Front Mount Combination Review - feat. 1000 Lumen + Adjustable LED

The Ravemen FR1000 is the brightest bike headlights in Ravemen’s FR series and features an integrated mount and light design. It takes the sandwich style design of the FR lights to the next level by making the light itself the mount instead of an accessory. Retail price for the FR1000 is an affordable $74.95 which includes Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton adapters and even a GoPro bottom mount. Ravemen has utilized a 3000mAh battery with a USB-C charging port and powerbank functionality to charge other devices. The FR1000 has a single LED which puts out 1000 lumen and has an adjustable beam angle from horizontal to 30 degrees downward. One of the key features of the FR1000 is the integrated mount design and two piece construction that lets you use the FR1000 as an out-front mount. The clamp piece attaches to 31.8 or 35mm diameter handlebars using a different combination of shims. It’s one sided, single bolt design that attaches to round handlebars and should support the weight of normal accessories. The main light piece has a female top mount to allow you to attach bike computers as well as a GoPro bottom attachment for cameras or additional bike lights. Out of the box, the FR1000 has the Garmin top puck attached but there is also a separate Wahoo and even a Bryton puck included. We’re surprised to see a Bryton mount which has slightly thicker tabs than a Garmin while the Wahoo is just a Garmin mount rotated 90 degrees. The main light portion also has a quick release tab design that allows it to be removed from the clamp for charging or if you park your bike outdoors. The Ravemen FR1000 takes Ravemen’s FR combo light design to the next level with higher output and a more integrated design. Instead of a light that attaches to an out-front mount, the FR1000 is an out front mount itself with a top and bottom mount. The FR1000 has a two piece design with a front light portion and a handlebar piece. There is a quick-release between the two pieces that lets you quickly remove the light and any accessories from the bike without unbolting it from the handlebar. With the higher 1000 lumen output and large 3000 mAh battery, the FR1000 has a combination of aluminum and plastic construction to help dissipate heat. ...
