Can you live in a remote cottage with just a bicycle?

In 2022, we moved to a remote cottage in the Lake District National Park, UK. Miles from the nearest town, 7 miles from the nearest train station. Just surrounded by rolling hills, sheep and farms. Oh, and there's no public transport. Locals said we couldn't live here without a car. So did the estate agents. But, we live here on our bikes. And, we've made it over a year! But, it has been one wild journey and I don't think either of us realised how much it could change our lives.
