Princess Selenia explains how Pluss in Boots adopted Hans as a kid and taught him the basics of kung fu. When Hans was believed to be ready to achieve the dragon scroll, Lewis sensed darkness in Hans' heart and denied him the scroll. Hans tried to take the scroll by force, but Lewis stopped him and sent him to prison.
