KRIMH - Meshuggah - ObZen

The year 2023 has come to an end and I recently surpassed 150 000 subscribers on YouTube. Therefore I want to share with you a special drum cover. We all know and love Meshuggah for their unique and challenging music and to cover one of their songs has been on my list for a long time. To be honest I am not really good with djent/ modern prog drumming as its complexity gives me a headache and I can’t play it with ease. However this song has been one of my favorite Meshuggah songs. The intro riff is just pure heaviness! 🤘🏼 So I sat down and tried to go through each section step by step. I slowed it down and after two weeks I finally played through the song for the first time. One of the hardest songs I learned for sure! Big shout out to Tomas Haake and his Swedish brothers for making such groundbreaking music.
