Over at the light table, we're boosting fine motor skills with translucent beads and pipe cleaners. 🌟 Our writing center this week focuses on Mo Willems, perfect for exploring punctuation—his books are full of exclamation points! Mixing things up at the Play-Doh center, we've swapped traditional Play-Doh for Mad Matter, offering a variety of fun materials without a specific theme. 🎨 In the block center, children enjoy a mixture of connecting blocks, colored blocks, and cars, alongside wooden blocks that are a staple throughout the year. 🏗️ This week at the easel, we're painting with balloons, using two colors that blend beautifully for a mix-and-match activity. Starting early on our Mother’s Day crafts, we ensure each project is heartfelt and personalized. And for our Mo Willems author study, students will draw and paint the pigeon, perfecting their directive drawing skills. 💼 The messy table features water play with colorful new pitchers and letter bubbles from Lakeshore Learning—water is changed daily for cleanliness and safety. 🌊 Our Science Center is a hub of discovery with sensory bottles related to weather and a project to grow romaine lettuce right in the classroom!
