One of the most popular tracks in the whole Touhou Project. This is another one of those "older" videos that I've been wanting to remake for quite a while now. I'm very proud of this arrangement! Hartmann's Youkai Girl is a very difficult track to arrange, mainly because of the wacky time signatures and chaotic nature of the piece. It's very hard to find a balance between the "crazy" part of the song and the beautiful, melancholic section that we all know and love. I tried my best! I also wanted to incorporate some "reverse" shenanigans, but didn't want to actually edit the video...so I learned how to play certain sections in reverse. It's quite funny, actually.
