Storm WRECKS Two John Deere Tractors… 6 Breakdowns

Spring Service Calls 2026 Episode 2 is here—and this one starts off with some serious storm damage. A shed door got ripped off and launched like a frisbee straight into a John Deere 9360R and 9530T… and the damage is worse than you’d think. From there, we jump back into the 9620RX from last week—this time chasing down intermittent faults caused by oil wicking through the engine wiring harness, creating electrical shorts and sensor issues. Next up is a 9570RT throwing ECM 157.18 (low fuel rail pressure). We go through full diagnostics, identify a failing high pressure fuel pump due to excessive return rate, and start the repair… only to have the job take a turn later on. We also check in on Ben’s shop project—a John Deere 8100 with a damaged front axle housing—before jumping back into the 9360R for exhaust and intake repairs from the storm damage. There’s also a quick look at the Milwaukee Gangbox Rapid Charger setup in the shop, and then it’s back into the 9570RT to replace the high pressure fuel pump… until a parts issue slows things down. Back at the shop, we take a look at a 9RX 640 with a severe knocking noise that sounds like it’s coming from the transmission—definitely one to keep an eye on. To wrap things up, we return to the 9570RT, complete the repair, rerun tests… and find out the problem isn’t over yet—now it’s pointing toward injectors.
