Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones - July 2026 Combined Remix with Johan Borgh on Slide

Gimme Shelter by The Rolling Stones, November 1969, including guest vocals from Merry Clayton. Some 55 years later and Swedish guitar player Johan Borgh uploads his rendition of Mary Clayton's solo vocal part with his slide guitar (  / johanborgh  . I've always loved Gimme Shelter and Mary Clayton, and since first viewing Johan's video on his Instagram I had to see what it sounded like mixed together while keeping Mary Clayton's vocal part. All parts are left the same without using any EQ or effects, besides a minor HPF and LPF. The original mix is centred, except for the guitars which I seperated into two tracks and had them hard panned left and right - I can't guarantee these are evenly split between the original rhythm and lead but fingers crossed!
