ASME Y14.5 Fundamental Drafting Rules
I discuss the 14 Fundamental Rules from Section 1.4, Page 4 of ASME Y14.5M-1994. These rules are the foundation of dimensioning and tolerancing. Everything in the ASME Y14.5M-1994 Standard can be traced back to these 14 rules. ASME Y14.5M-1994 is still in use by many companies. I use it because it is the most cost effective version for learning GD&T. A used copy can be had for around $50, and is very similar to the newer versions. #ASME #Drafting
