සංසාර යාත්‍රිකයා | Voyager of Samsara 2025 නොවැම්බර් මස 13 වන දින, මහා පාද චාරිකාවේ නවවන දිනයට තවත් සුවිශේෂී කිලෝමීටර් 23ක දුරක් සාර්ථකව එකතු විය. ගම්පොළ පුණ්‍යවන්ත පිණ්ඩපාතය: පෙරදින රාත්‍රියේ දිනූෂ මල්ලිගේ නිවසේ ලැබුණු උදාර උපස්ථානයන් නිසා ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ ගතේ විඩාව බෙහෙවින් නිවී ගොස් තිබුණි. පසුදින උදෑසන ගම්පොළ ඒ අවට පින්වත් වැසියන් මහත් වූ ශ්‍රද්ධාවෙන් තම නිවෙස් ඉදිරිපිට සිටම ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ උදෙසා පිණ්ඩපාත දානය පූජා කළහ. නෙතට කඳුළු පිරෙන සංවේදී මතකය: එදින උදෑසන ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේට පිණ්ඩපාතය පූජා කිරීමට දැඩි ලෙස අසනීප තත්ත්වයෙන් පසුවූ දිනූෂ මල්ලිගේ ආදරණීය බිරිඳගේ පියාණන් ද පැමිණ සිටියේය. ශරීරය දුර්වල වුවද හදවතේ පිරුණු අකම්පිත ශ්‍රද්ධාවෙන්ම එතුමා දානය බෙදූ ආකාරය අතිශය සංවේදී විය. කනගාටුදායකම කරුණ නම්, වර්තමානය වන විට ඒ ආදරණීය පියාණන් ජීවිතයෙන් සමුගෙන අවසන්ය. මෙම මහා චාරිකාව පුරාවට අප රැස්කරගන්නා වූ සකලවිධ පින් සියල්ල එතුමාට පරලොව සැප පිණිසත්, උතුම් නිවන් පිණිසත් හේතු වේවායි පුණ්‍යානුමෝදනා කරමු! පුරාණ වත්පිළිවෙත් පුරමින් දළදා වන්දනාව: එදින ගමනේ ප්‍රධානතම අරමුණ වූයේ ජීවමාන තථාගතයන් වහන්සේ සේ වැජඹෙන ශ්‍රී දළදා සමිඳුන් වන්දනා කරගැනීමයි. ජනාකීර්ණ මහනුවර නගරය මැදින් පාද චාරිකාවෙන් මාලිගාවට ළඟා වන විට කළුවර වැටී තිබුණි. අතීතයේ ථෙරවාදී භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේ නමක් දළදා සමිඳුන් වන්දනා කිරීමට පැමිණි විට පුරනු ලබන ඒ උත්කෘෂ්ට වත්පිළිවෙත් මනාව ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරමින්, පුරාණ චාරිත්‍රානුකූලව දළදා වහන්සේ වන්දනා කිරීමට එදින අප සැමට මහා භාග්‍යයක් උදා විය. පසුගමන් ආ දිරිය සහ රාත්‍රී නවාතැන: දිනූෂ මල්ලිගේ නිවසේ සිට දළදා මාලිගාව දක්වාත්, එතැන් සිට රාත්‍රී නවාතැන දක්වාත් දිනූෂ මල්ලි ඇතුළු පවුලේ උදවිය ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේගේ පසුපසින් ගමන් කරමින් දැවැන්ත ශක්තියක් වූහ. එදින රාත්‍රිය ගත කිරීමට අපට ලැබුණේ ඉදිවෙමින් පවතින නිහඬ නිවසකි. ථෙරවාද ආර්යවංශික භික්‍ෂු ප්‍රතිරූපය නැවත සමාජගතකිරීමේ මෙම උදාර වෑයම සමඟ ඔබත් එකතුවන්න. ඉදිරි සිනමාත්මක වීඩියෝ මාලාව නැරඹීමට අපගේ නාලිකාව සබ්ස්ක්‍රයිබ් (Subscribe) කර එකතුවන්න. Voyager of Samsara | සංසාර යාත්‍රිකයා November 13, 2025, marked Day 9 of the grand foot pilgrimage, adding another historic and deeply emotional 23 kilometers to the spiritual journey toward Kandy. A Blessed Alms-Round in Gampola: Thanks to the comforting hospitality of Dinusha and his family the previous night, the monk’s physical exhaustion was significantly eased. The following morning, the pious neighbors of Gampola gathered with deep devotion in front of their homes to offer Pindapatha (alms) to the monk. A Heart-Wrenching Memory: Among those who offered alms was a truly inspiring soul—the beloved father of Dinusha’s wife. Despite being severely ill and weak at the time, his unwavering faith brought him to the roadside to serve the monk. Sadly, this dear father has since passed away and departed from this life. We dedicatedly transfer and share all the immense merits accumulated throughout this historic pilgrimage to his soul; may it guide his spiritual journey and lead him to the supreme bliss of Nirvana. Worshiping the Sacred Tooth Relic via Ancient Rituals: The ultimate destination of the day was the Sri Dalada Maligawa (The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic). Walking through the bustling streets of Kandy city, darkness had already fallen by the time the monk reached the temple gates. The video beautifully captures the exact, ancient protocols and sublime monastic duties practiced by ancient Theravada monks upon visiting the Sacred Tooth Relic, granting us a rare and breathtaking glimpse of pure tradition. The Faithful Devotees & Night Shelter: From the house in Gampola all the way to the Maligawa, and then to the night shelter, Dinusha’s family walked devotedly behind the monk as his continuous guardians. The day concluded peacefully as we found shelter inside an under-construction house to spend the night.
