Fuensanta Méndez double bass/vocals | Han Bennink drums Poetry and folk music are important elements in the compositions of singer/bassist Fuensanta Méndez, born and raised in Mexico and currently based in The Netherlands. As an improviser she will now perform with the most adventurous drummer in The Netherlands, Han Bennink. Since his revolutionary collaboration with Misha Mengelberg in the 1960s he has regularly performed in duo line-ups, for example with Irène Schweizer, Dave Douglas en Terrie Ex.
