The incident claimed the life of one person and is currently being handled by the Mataram Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The victim, identified as RI (19), a resident of West Pagesangan, Mataram City, was found dead after being involved in a fight with the alleged perpetrator, identified as AM (23), a resident of South Ampenan, Mataram City. Police have detained AM for further investigation. The Head of the Mataram Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKP I Made Dharma Yulia Putra, confirmed the arrest of the alleged perpetrator and revealed the suspected motive behind the incident. The relationship between the victim and the alleged perpetrator was related. The dispute over a debt is suspected to be the root of the problem that led to the fight that claimed the life of RI.
