Comic Book Grading Scale Explained

There are are few companies that grade comics. I am associated with any of those companies, but I am a comic book collector and work with comics all the time. The comic book grades is a number assigned to a comic to describe its physical condition. A 10 would be a Gem Mint. Most new comics come back as a Near Mint at 9.8 and then they go down from there to a 0.5 In this video I break down a few of the elements of the expected quality of the books going down that scale. I am not a comic book grading professional but I have seen a lot and also I spent some time reading up on the different companies and distributors to see what they all said about the grades and brought that together as best as I could to help you get some information on those grades.
