We would see some various scenario and which side is winning and how. The most basic example, which is 2 connected pawn on the 6th rank, while the king aren’t involved. For this, you need to remember this golden rule “2 connected pawns on the 6 are always, always better than a rook.” Here black rook can’t stop the pawn from promoting no matter what he tries.
