Change Pool Filter Sand | Intex Sand Filter | ZeoSand

In this video we show how to change pool filter sand media in our Intex Sand Filter. Sand is a durable and long lasting filter media, but ours had not been replaced in many years. Zeolite is porous and has greater surface area than sand and is lighter by volume by 50%. So to replace the 100 lbs. of sand I removed it would only require 50 lbs. of "ZeoSand". After adding ZeoSand media to your sand filter, rinse and backwash very thoroughly. Just a week since replacing my sand with ZeoSand, my pool water is clearer than it has been in the last couple years.
