General Overseer E.C. Thomas Preaches at Centennial Church of God General Assembly—1986

General Overseer E.C. Thomas opens the Centennial General Assembly of the Church of God on Tuesday evening announcing the theme “The Church Triumphant.” Prior to the message, David Horton directs the Cleveland Centennial Celebration Choir with soloists Paul Henson and Virginia Horton. New Harvest, directed by Danny Murray and featuring Judy Jacobs, offer musical selections. Heinrich Scherz, S.E. Arnold, and Raymond E. Crowley also lead in the service. In his message, General Overseer Thomas surveys the future, history, and present status of the church and declares that the church is, was, and will be triumphant as we hold to the principles of the early church. As a special feature of this recording, Bennie Triplett interviews Raymond Crowley. The World Congress Center in Atlanta is host of the 61st General Assembly meeting July 29-August 3, 1986.
