learning to use muscles my paralysis have stolen from me.

Oh my gosh you guys I definitely miss being able to sit up on my own without having to use my arms to help pull me up using my wheelchair or the sheets or something near me to do so. So this experience was really rad!!! Thank you @reyuprc and @branzoid for this AWESOME session!!! Man I so wish that you guys were here in America and specifically near Atlanta or could find a way to get me to you because you guys are wonderful!!! I was able to do things I have never done since my paralysis like being able to have my knees braced so I could push my own butt in the air which was a really cool thing to experience as I never thought I could do since I am paralyzed from my chest down. It is crazy that I have been paralyzed for 13 years and that there is so much I still don't know about my own paralysis and learning how to live with it and exercising my own body. I really can't express to you guys what a difference it has made to be in a community of people living with spinal cord injuries like myself and how much they have helped me grow just meeting them all this year. I have made so many friends that are never getting rid of me!!! 😋 and am learning so much that I am just looking so much forward to a new way of being able to live. Community & support is key especially when living with a disability like myself and so many millions of others suffering with spinal cord injuries. I definitely encourage any of you guys that are in my shoes to do the same because groups are out there and it's refreshing to be able to talk to someone who really understands because I do. Just from my workout group on Instagram with @verticalblonde and @disabilityicon my bomb friend/diet support helping me learn a healthy way to move my body and nourish it @empoweredpara and @jesistracham and @wheelwithme who is always kicking butt and taking names who introduced me to these awesome peeps i now adore!!! Getting connected and getting moving is possible and when you see that you can amount to so much more than you really ever thought you could even with limitations like being paralyzed it is mind blowing how rewarding that feels!!!! Thank you for helping me grow so much more than you can imagine! 😘 Thank you for following my journey here with getting my health in check! I'm already feeling like nothing is impossible!! Also follow my journey on Instagram or TikTok @wheelingwithmebethb. Your support means EVERYTHING!!
