TV IALOMITA - Carnagiu pe șosea în Ialomița: 10 morți și 7 răniți grav

Carnage on a road in Ialomița. Ten people died and seven others were in very serious condition in hospital after a TIR crashed head-on into a minibus full of people. The horrific accident took place on DN 2A, at the entrance to the town of Sfântul Gheorghe. The call to 112 was received at around 5 am. The TIR driver went the wrong way and hit a minibus carrying 15 women who were going to work in the capital. The vehicle had left Munteni Buzău and had traveled less than 10 km from the boarding point when it was hit by the out-of-control mastodon. The impact was devastating: eight passengers in the minibus, its driver, and the TIR driver died. The minibus was transporting workers to a supermarket in the capital. Horrified by the terrible news, the relatives of those in the minibus arrived in one soul at the scene of the tragedy (OCTOBER 5, 2019). One of the injured died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Four of the injured women were transported in serious condition to hospitals in Bucharest, another three arrived in Slobozia with a spinal fracture. The most serious is a 19-year-old woman who, after being stabilized by doctors, was transported by a SMURD helicopter to Bucharest. The authorities activated the Red Intervention Plan. With their hearts torn by pain, the families of those who disappeared in the terrible accident went to the morgue to identify their dead. Nine of the ten victims were from Munteni Buzău, 15 children were left motherless.
