IKEA for Dummies: AVOID THE MEATBALL

We took a trip to everyone’s favorite mega big-box furniture store, and honestly, it was an emotional rollercoaster. What was supposed to be a quick, organized mission for plant pots and bedside tables quickly spiraled into an epic, chaotic race against the closing announcement clock. Naturally, our first mistake was hitting the food court while completely hangry. After some 8/10 garlic toast and a sip of lingonberry soda, the meal took a dark turn when we discovered a hard, tooth-shaped mystery bone lodged deep inside an IKEA meatball. (We're pretty sure it was a bicuspid). Fortunately, the culinary trauma was somewhat redeemed by unlimited refills of a sugar-free cola that tastes suspiciously like stolen Pepsi. Once fueled up, we hit the showroom to test out the display beds, hunt for a bedside table that wasn't completely ugly, and try to figure out what they were measuring in the "Goodnight Club." Along the way, we caught a beautiful Los Angeles sunset from the windows, discovered that IKEA low-key sells puppets (fun fact: I am a puppeteer by trade), and found ourselves trapped in the backrooms with only two minutes left before security kicked us out. Against all odds, we made some incredibly rash, last-minute decisions on some slightly phallic plant pots and made it to the self-checkout. It was an extremely successful shopping haul with only minor subsequent illness. Have you ever survived a trip to IKEA? What is your go-to food court order? Let us know in the comments! Don't forget to subscribe, like, and share this with your grandma. Tune in next week for more chaos (somewhere that isn't IKEA).
