Art Retreat Workshop : Demonstration in assembling signatures

Assembling signatures I always do last binding them into the journal covers. For now each signature I look at add pockets add lace to the edge. At this point, it’s easy to have them coming apart, taking the page and putting into the sewing machine even if you’re just gluing. I can leaf’ through it several times as I go through each signature rearrange the pages get a better feel for everything going on. ⭐️ in the first stage of gathering the papers for the signatures we had all the papers laid out on the table in categories of gel prints or Coffee print lines music sheets. Stack them with the ones that were the favorite or you like the most on the top of each stack.. ⭐️ then as you start one signature, you do 5 to 10 pages I like around six or seven because I’ve added so much to each page then it’s double thickness at that point. You choose pages or sheets at this point from your stacks and arrange them how you want the center how you want the front to look. Using one card stock on the outside is always a good choice, but not more than one card stock to each signature. ⭐️ #artretreat #artworkshop #artcamp #recycledart #art #journaling #adult #camping #junkjournalflipthrough
