Intricate Ink Animals in Detail: A Coloring Book by Tim Jeffs

I discovered Tim Jeffs' coloring images when I was exposed to some his fans' finished coloring pages on Facebook and was intrigued at the amazing detail that he has in each of the animal drawings. I appreciate the black and white pen and ink drawings, as well as the drawings made with what I assume is pencil or graphite. The paper is quite thick - excellent for those colorists who like to use the 'wetter' mediums but would advise using a blotter page between despite the thickness of the paper. The book is a hard-back cover, and glue bound spine. The background of the drawings are all solid black, which could be a positive or negative - depending up the viewpoint and desires of the colorist. If the colorist uses brilliant hues and bright colors the black background would be a wonderful counterpoint to those colors. If the colorists prefer darker colors, then they may be muted against the black background. If you love black and white drawings, this book is quite lovely, with some of the more professionally drawn animals in the volume. I would highly recommend purchasing this book if you are either an avid hobby colorist or a art collector. This book is available via Amazon: http://amzn.to/2egfFbj
