FFXI Returning Players Guide: Introduction to Abyssea

In this guide I introduce the basic systems of Abyssea. This guide is a primer for everything from flagging the zone to proccing notorious monsters and getting drops. I will be going in to more detail on individual topics in future abyssea videos. The main reasons to do Abyssea content at this point are for Empyrean Weapons and Armor. There are also some items that are still relevant to pick up such as Epona Ring. You can also get some Vorseals for Escha content by clearing Abyssea. Additionally,, Abyssea is a fantastic place to do Magian Trials that require you to get kills or weaponskills on a certain enemy type.
