Gravel Challenge Epique 150km

On Sunday, March 15th, I went to reconnoiter the 140km route for Cycles Plein Air, a chain based in Angers with four stores. The challenge: to reach all four stores by gravel bike! As part of their "Springtime of Cycling" event, they are organizing several 100km and 140km gravel and road rides starting from each store. https://www.cyclespleinair.fr/actuali... I'd missed challenges, and this one was definitely one, given my current fitness level! I've been struggling to get back on my feet physically since my accident with five fractured vertebrae, and then the hypertension that developed, which I've been trying to control since January... That's it, third medication adjustment, it seems to be under control. In short, it's not easy! But with the return of warmer weather, the desire for gravel riding and the thirst for adventure are taking over again! And the only way to regain control of my comfort zone is to ride!
