There are an estimated 1.2 million people nationwide who stutter. Symptoms vary from person to person, from repeating sounds to pauses in speech. Hira, a high school girl attending a high school in Echizen City, is one such person. She tried her hand at hosting the first Stuttering Cafe in Fukui Prefecture, hoping to spread awareness of stuttering.
