Can This REALLY Be Essex’s Worst Chip Shop?

Part 3 of our mission to find the worst chip shops in Essex! 🍟 This time we’re at Oh My Cod on Mersea Road, Colchester. With a 3.9⭐ Google rating, we expected the worst… but was it actually deserved? Most of the negative reviews seemed to be about delivery, not the food itself. We put it to the test. 🐟 Fish review: • Freshness ⭐️ • Crispiness ⭐️ • Chips 🍟 • Cleanliness • Overall verdict 👀 The fish was a little oily and didn’t taste the freshest, but surprisingly the rest of the meal was actually pretty good. It also holds a 5⭐ Food Hygiene Rating, so was Google being too harsh?
