Drivers View: Greensborough To Eltham On A Hitachi Train...
Had my first Hitachi run for 2012. Few and far between these days. Took the opportunity to whack up my mobile against the windscreen to film the occasion. Wasn't sure what the quality would be like, but it's better than nothing. Lead motor is 273M (previously 10M). Greensborough to Eltham section is worked under the Electric Staff system. Upgrade to ATC is progressing and construction of the new sub station can be seen at Sherbourne Road. I applied the Auto Air Brake for the curves between Monty and Eltham. You can hear the LP/STOP flag raise and lower.
