The evidence ranged from cash in foreign currency to several luxury cars. The luxury cars were seen parked in the courtyard of the AGO building on Saturday (April 12) evening. These vehicles included a Ferrari, a Nissan GT-R, a Mercedes-Benz, and a Lexus. The Director of Investigations for the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Dirdik Jampidsus) at the AGO, Abdul Qohar, stated in a statement on Saturday (April 12) that the evidence was secured during searches conducted by investigators at five locations in Jakarta. The searches were conducted from Friday (April 11) to Saturday (April 12). In this case, four people are named as suspects: in addition to Arif, there are Wahyu Gunawan, the Junior Civil Clerk of North Jakarta, a corporate attorney named Marcella Santoso, and an advocate named Ariyanto. For your information, Arif is implicated in a bribery and gratuity case related to the acquittal verdict in a corruption case involving the export of crude palm oil (CPO), a raw material for cooking oil. Arif is suspected of accepting bribes totaling Rp 60 billion from suspects Marcella Santoso and Ariyanto, both lawyers. The money was handed over by Wahyu Gunawan, the Junior Civil Clerk of North Jakarta. This case occurred while Arif was still serving as Deputy Chief Justice of the Central Jakarta District Court.
