Forward Roll for Martial Arts - Solo BJJ Drills for Kids
Often thought of as a gymnastic movement, the Forward roll is critical in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and other martial arts. Many techniques involve making this rolling motion. It is also a fantastic way to warm up your spine and back for training. This is an excellent technique for kids to develop core strength and an understanding of momentum. You can do this one right at home, and no mats are required for this drill. Make sure you practice on a soft surface!
