Katmai Bears 6-22-25. Chunk Arrives in Cam View; Decent View of His Injuries; BFL Cam. explore.org

Bear 32 Chunk arrived in cam view today for first time since the cams went live this season. Chunk has several injuries, including a broken jaw (right side), front right leg/shoulder injury (walks with a limp), and visible cuts on his right side near his shoulder. We were aware of the jaw injury from Mike Fitz, Naturalist with explore.org, and he talks about it in the below link. It is not known who Chunk got into a fight with (or if fighting was the cause of any of the injuries), and it appears the jaw injury occurred before the leg/cuts (two separate incidents). This footage is all from the Brooks Falls Low cam. I also included a link shared by the moderators about bears & injuries.
