'You're out of order!' OVP lawyer removed from House probe after refusing to take oath

The head of the Office of the Vice President’s (OVP) legal team was escorted out of a House hearing on Monday (November 11) after she refused to take her oath and insisted that she was not a resource person formally invited to the congressional investigation. Atty. Emily Rose Torrentira, chief of the OVP’s Legal Affairs Division, was called to explain why she refused to receive the subpoenas served at the OVP’s office in Mandaluyong.
