When You're Wrong About God

What if the most dangerous thing about being wrong is how right it feels? Most of us know what it’s like to be wrong about a decision, a relationship, a belief, or even ourselves. But being wrong about God can be harder to see and harder to admit. In Acts 7, Stephen retells the story of Israel and shows a repeated pattern: God sends someone to rescue his people, God’s people reject the rescuer, and God still works through the rejected one to save them. Then Luke introduces Saul, the man who would become Paul, as a living reminder that being wrong about God is not the end of the story.
