Make an adorable fringed tulip 🌷 out of crepe paper

Enjoy learning how to make a fringed tulip #crepepaperflowers with doublette crepe paper by Werola. I’m using a hand-dyed doublette for the purple tulip, but the pink tulip is a standard color. Doublette is sold as double sided crepe paper by Lia Griffith. In the US, Petals and Pearls Design (https://www.petalsandpearlsdesign.com/) can send you everything you need. You can find aquarium tubing at the hardware store or on Amazon. Please watch the first video in my tulip playlist for the basic instructions on this tulip design. Above all, relax and enjoy creating a flower - it’s a lovely, #mindfulness moment with a meditative craft. Important tip - the ridges of the crepe paper should be vertical, going top to the bottom of your petals and leaf. You’ll need: A cool shot hot glue gun Tacky glue 16 gauge floral wire Floral tape Spun cotton centers (these are hard like foam balls, which you could use instead) Doublette paper in colors for the petals and leaf Scissors Cardstock, chipboard, or a thin plastic cutting board to make templates A square of the material above to spread tacky glue Parchment paper as a surface Aquarium tubing (if you can’t find this, just wrap your stem in a few layers of floral tape - it’ll still look great) Wire cutters Gracious, this is a lot of supplies, but worth it.
