TRIBUNCIREBON.COM - The Kuningan Police Narcotics Investigation Unit successfully uncovered 11 cases of drug abuse and distribution between May and July 2026. In a press conference held at Kuningan Police Headquarters, Kuningan Police Chief, AKBP Muhammad Ali Akbar, explained that as a result of these cases, officers arrested 12 suspects, five of whom were repeat offenders. A number of pieces of evidence with a staggering value were also confiscated, including 125.21 grams of methamphetamine worth hundreds of millions of rupiah and thousands of restricted hard drug pills. Of particular interest was the seizure of two marijuana plants, 1.5 to 2 meters tall, planted by one of the suspects at his home in Cilimus District. For their actions, the suspects face severe penalties ranging from a minimum of five years in prison to the death penalty.
