University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences is a postgraduate education institution officially approved by the Ministry of Education of China. So far, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has awarded more than 100,000 postgraduates (including foreign students) master's and doctoral degrees. The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has officially enrolled foreign students since 2004. In the past ten years, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has enrolled and trained more than 1,000 foreign students. At present, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has more than 120 majors that can enroll foreign doctoral students, involving 83 majors in seven categories, including science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, economics, and philosophy. The top 10 majors with the largest number of students include botany, innovation management, ecology, physical geography, neurobiology, biochemistry and molecular biology, cartography and geographic information systems, chemical engineering, nanoscience and technology, and material physics and chemistry. In the 2014-2015 academic year, the school also has more than 200 majors offering Chinese-taught foreign master's programs, as well as 9 English-taught foreign master's programs, including botany, ecology, environmental science, chemical engineering, innovation management, and administrative management. At the same time, USTC also recruits non-degree foreign students, including general students (including exchange students, scientific research exchange students) and senior students. Currently, USTC has more than 40 foreign students engaged in special research. USTC currently has more than 100 English-taught graduate courses open to international students.
