A Visual Tour of Ragtime Dances (lecture by Walter Nelson)
This is a recording of a Zoom presentation by Walter Nelson of selections of his collection of film clips from the 1880s to 1920 showing people dancing the popular dances fo the day. It includes the Cake Walk, Two-Step, Turkey Trot, One-Step, Fox Trot, Boston Waltz, Hesitation Waltz, Tango, Maxixe and Texas Tommy. It runs about two hours.
