A lack of resources motivates creativity. Cubans have sought solutions for the chronic absence of recreational options in small towns and some cities. Rustic and mobile amusement parks are one of those solutions, loaded with pragmatism but at the same time with a sense of opportunity. Oslier Hidalgo Rodríguez is a 29-year-old Cuban who built his own traveling amusement park, made of bits and pieces of different types and models. This is his story.
