Aimee Semple McPherson: God's Generals

Aimee Semple McPherson was an extraordinary Woman of God. God used her mightily to touch the lives of multitudes with the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was very dramatic and illustrative in her ministry. Thousands would come to see her minister. She was the first to start a Christian Radio Station in California. She founded the Four Square Church Denomination. Lived: Oct 9, 1890 - Sept 27, 1944 - Aimee Semple McPherson was a pioneer of the modern-day Pentecostal movement, she preached out of a heart of love for Jesus and leading of the Holy Spirit. Everywhere she went the sick were healed, sinners saved and backsliders came running down the aisles to re-commit their lives to God. On Jan 1, 1923, she opened up Angelus Temple, in Los Angeles California. It was the largest church at that time, seating 5300 and was packed every week.
