This is a 2016 model year engine that features quite a few changes. For example, the fuel injection pump pulley position sensor is missing, and the turbocharger air supply control valve is offset (geometrically), so the wire runs through the timing belt cover. In this video, we'll show you how to remove the right engine mount, how to open and remove the timing belt cover, how to lock the crankshaft and camshaft pulley, how to set timing marks, and how to find top dead center (TDC). We'll also show you how to properly install a new timing belt and tensioner pulley, how to properly tension the timing belt, how to set timing marks on the camshaft pulley and fuel injection pump, and how to check the timing marks.
