At nearly 5,000 meters above sea level, we camped beneath Peru’s sacred mountain Ausangate. While cooking ramen beside a glacial lake, we suddenly heard a thunderous sound. A glacier was collapsing nearby. This episode follows our journey through one of the most beautiful and remote regions of the Andes, where altitude sickness, freezing temperatures, and breathtaking scenery come together.
